An Old Gretch Get Frets Replaced

Here you see that the nut has been removed, the fingerboard resurfaced, and the frets installed.

The frets have now been leveled, and the ends filed to shape.

The fingerboard is now cleaned and any work marks removed.  The frets have now been crowned and polished.

The nut has been glued back in with a shim under it. The space will later be filled in on the ends and the color matched to the paint.  The fingerboard and inlays have be oiled and polished.  Later the excess oil is wiped off, and the guitar is ready for the strings.

An old Gretch is now ready for many more years of old time rock and roll .
